I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that 4.0 is the bare minimum executables that are compatible with Vista... you can go to 5.0 if you want, but I think 4.0 is the minimum.
if you do so you have to be careful with command like findset ...
it's available on 5 but not on previous 4.0 (i'm not sure exactly if it's before 4.03 or 4.00 version)
