I'm not a big warehouse guru, so forgive me if I get some terminology wrong here. Is ADCS the same as barcoding? If so I can probably find a document on how that works. I think there's a chapter in the WMS training material.
If not, can anyone suggest where to start to learn about barcoding?
I found this link on PartnerSource, but it is for Navision 2.6. Don't even know if it will be relevant anymore.

I'm looking to understand how it works from a code perspective as well. Which codeunits let the handheld scanners communicate with the database. Maybe also how base NAV ADCS compares with add-ons from companies like Lanham.
Thanks

Have a look at the document w1w1InstADCS.pdf on the Nav CD/DVD - it is the installation guide but give a overview as well

I have configure the ADCS using NAS.
Using these Configuration, I got the Data of Navision on the Screen of Hyper Terminal.
But when i Entering Data on Screen of Hyper Terminal, so that data doesn't go into Navision Database.
it Generate two Errors:
1. Invalid Bin Code :
"It might be possible that i have not mention that Bin code into Navision."
2. NAS Error : Root Element is missing.
I think this one is the main Error.
so how can i send data into Navision by entering data on the Screen of Hyper Terminal or on any ADCS Devices?
Thanks You.
2. Like the error said, the bin might be missing in NAV.
Did you set this up yourself? If so, you may want to ask your NAV partner to audit it for you. You may also want to take a look at the WHM manual for ADCS to ensure you got all the steps correct.
