Hi

I have this user who comes across this error when she tries to open a image file.

C/Side Hyperlinking Failed
C/Side Hyperlinking requires at least windows 95 or windows NT 4.0 with a Web Browser.
You tried to Hyperlink to this target .....
Do you want to place that hyperlink target on the clipboard?

The code to open this image file is just HyperLink("File Path");

It works on all machines except my clients :) And she is on Windows XP Prof with the default IE (think it should be IE 5.5 or 6.0)

Any ideas as to why there is this error?

Thanks

    Hi

    The file path is "h:\pr attachment-IT\PR04-00009a.jpg" where h drive is a mapped network drive.

    Yeah it is properly registered in the OS. Can view the file if double-click from windows explorer.

    Some more feedback from my client:

    'We can view the same file (image or Microsoft Office documents) for a few times before the error message appear.'

    Really strange. Since other users don't have problems, it is likely that the problem is on that PC (OS, System, ?!?) and not in Navision.

    If you go via explorer on the users pc to that file and doubleclick, does it open the file?

    I already got this one time, when i tryed to open a file via the hyperlink function, but there was no program associated with the file extension on that pc.

    Hyperlink only uses the standard link of the windows settings between a extension and a program to open that extension. If there is no link, you probably get this error.
