Dear All,

Need Help...!!!!!!

I m using Nav 4.0 but the problem is that when i tried to run from local machine it removes navigation pane....anyone knows how to bring it back???

    F12, or click the NAV logo in the upper right corner of the client.

    I have done it..but there are only [emptymenu].....

    have you opened a database of version 4.0 or higher?

    Nooo..I have just Restore Backup on my local Machine...

    Well ... open a database of version 4.0 or higher ... and there you go ... .

    Sorry, darling, didn't get that from your extensive explanation. :wink:

    I have a feeling you restored only a piece of the backup, namely the TableData and not the objects. Check the object designer, and see if you got all your objects from all types.

    I have one way to help you. It is a basic when we found like that.

    Delete Fin.zup file

    this file is : C:\Documents and Settings\..your login...\Application Data\fin.zup

    It will be back. sure sir

    I have done it but it created again n again...I think the problem is in Object what u say? do u know how to restore all objects?

    You can restore the objects by:
    1) import them from the backup file:
    File/Import/Show all Files/select backup file/OK
    2) restore the database with the option "Application Objects" to true

    Oh... If you want to do that..

    I usually use back up all object from old database and import all in new database again.

    Can you show me your window ? I confuse about your problem..

    I think, You have forgot to use assign user on navigation pane designner. I already send a manual file to set it up to you.

    Please do it again.
