hi

how to block user logging in based on computer host name.

    check the computername of the user in CU1. For getting the computername or the local IP search the forum. I found there a lot of topics.

    To Block the user u can write in CU 1 an error message like "Your computer has no permissions ...." or you close automaticly the NAV window (with WSH).

    For both answers of mine you find the solutions in the forum when you use the "Search the forum" function.
    But why you are not block the user (database logon / windowslogon) ?

    This "security" method would easily be defeated by a user (with appropriate rights) by simply changing the computername.

    What problem are you trying to solve?
    There are no bugs - only undocumented features.
