Trouble with license - logon issues

willywilly Member Posts: 67
Hi!

We have got a customer running on Nav 4.0Sp3 on a 2005 sql server.
When they reach the max number of user, they are not able to log on to Navision, even if 1,5 og 10 users log out.
(trace flag 4616 is enabled)
All users are set up with public roles on sql and super in navision.

Anyone seen this problem before and have found a solution?

Aren't you using Citrix? What does it mean "users logs out"? Just clickng the cross or usinng File-Close menu?

They are using terminal server to connect to the database.

I suspect they just disconnect (from server) and don't close the Navision client, so that it still will occupy one session.

On the other hand, the customer rejects this so, I have made some code to log the session table and check if I will see more than one record for each user.

Configure Terminal Services to logout disconnected sessions.
There are no bugs - only undocumented features.
