How easy to set up basic web ordering with NAV 5 ?

Hi

Sorry for posting such a basic question, but although I have years with the NAV product I have never done anything with web integration.

I have a customer who would like a simple order screen on the web that feeds the data back into NAV automatically creating sales orders.

I guess he will need some additional license - in which case which bits?

Also, what is required from a coding perspective in and out of NAV?

Is there any documentation covering what is required?

    Hi,

    in general there are three possible solutions:
    1. Develop your own
    2. Use Navision Employee Portal
    3. Use a Partner Add-On (like IT IS activigence / WE see http://www.itis.de

    Each of them has different pros and cons but this depends a lot on the customers requirements.

    Where can I find more info on the NAV employee portal??

    Is it just a start point ie. can it be customised as per standard NAV?
