You also need to have turned on "Lot Warehouse Tracking" for the specific Item Tracking Code. If you don't then the lot information is not in the warehouse entries.
If you start turning things on in WMS, they can be difficult/impossible to turn off. They can also add steps to processes already in place. Before you turn ANYTHING on in WMS, make sure that it's absolutely a requirement and that it's been tested in an environment with unrelated processes as well (sales and purchasing processes) to make sure that you understand the consequences.
WMS is very useful in the right circumstances, but it will completely lock down (require extra info and not proceed without it) your system if you turn on the wrong things without really needing them.
Yep - that's what I thought. We have a report that we created for it already, but I hate printed reports, because I can't stand the "Well, my report says this, and my screen says something else..." situations, when you know that they printed that report 6 hours ago.
Kind of stupid that MS wouldn't think this kind of information would be pertinent
Fisherman - are you using lot tracking with bins, but are not a full WMS environment. We have a client that we are considering moving from multiple locations to bins to address planning worksheet issues, but we don't want the overhead of WMS. I would be interested in your (or any one else's) experiences (other than the obvious of needing to do mods to view the lots). I already determined that this would be an issue.

A caveat:
