I have installed both clients NAV2009, the rola tailed and the classic client.
With the clasic client there are no problems to connect to the NAV2009 database, but when I start the Role tailed Client there occours this Error


"you do not have permission to run the microsoft dynamics nav server system"


Does anybody know this problem?

It depends on which license you are using... if your developer, you need to have it refreshed from Microsoft to include appropriate granule for the service tier...

I thought that this maybe the problem.

i have the corrrect liscense, but where to i have to put it?
I tried many fodlers of the installation directory and there is no possibility to import it as the client never gets to a point where i could choose a liscense.

As on the older versions... just upload it to the server... ;-)

if you use only the client -> import it in client folder.
If you use it with server, upload it to server (like in the old versions ;-) )

Yea, you both are right.
The thing is, that you have to upload it with the classic client as there is no upload dialog when starting the role tailed client...
