RG23A Part II Issue

Dear all,

I have created sales order and calculated the structure which have EXCISE with VAT.

From the Warehouse i posted the shipment.

In sales invoice, I called the shipment lines and once again calculated the structure.

After posting the sales invoice I checked the RG23A PART I Quantity is upadated.

But RG23A PART II Value is not updated.

Pls Guide us.

RG 23A Part II is for Cenvat Credit and no Cenvat transactions happen at the time of sale therefore no transaction in the table.

Can you explain where it will affect.

I am calculating the excise in the Sale invoice.

Where it will refelect.(RG23 PART I or II or Some where else)

Pls guide me.
