C/ODBC in combination of Crystal Reports 10

I've a problem using a Navision DB in Crystal Reports. I've created a DSN in ODBC Data Sources using C/ODBC. And connecting to the database works fine.
I only have a problem connecting to/inserting tables to Crystal Reports which have boolean fields.
Then I receive this message:Query Engine Error:'22003:[Microsoft Business Solutions ApS][Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision ODBC Driver]Out of range'

Can anyone help me on this one?

I just loaded CR Version 10 and have the same message for Navision 3.70 using C/ODBC 3.70.00.1364.

Microsoft's Partnersource stated they do not support Crystal Reports with Navision. Have you resolved this at your site?

    Thank You

have you changed any of the (DSN) c/odbc options?

what are you identifiers set up as and option field type?

    just curious..

I am assuming that it was the upgrade to 3.7 and the 3.7 c/odbc that you started to get this error?

The identifiers set All Except DOT
    Option Field Type set Text

These were the same running under Version 9 of Crystal.

    Hey Guys

It is not a proper solution but have found if you create a Microsoft Access database and odbc to the navision tables you can the create a crystal report that links to the Access database.

Still hunting for a real fix, let me know if you find one first.

I'm so glad I never upgraded to 10, since i've seen many post about this problem. I use Ver.9 works like a charm - right out of the box.

In fact you can download the updates & hotfix's from businessobjects.com.

Story> So I had 9 working fine & then I'd figure I'd get all the updates (sounds logical). Right after installing all the updates (which probably gets me close to ver.10) I had so many problems.
The only way to fix it was completely uninstall Crystal & reinstall Ver.9 & Don't get the updates..I let sleeping dogs lie & it works fine.

Note: you can play around with the (Data Sources) c/odbc config settings & try that.

or try the new Version XI : http://www.businessobjects.com/products ... wnload.asp

    Halle-freakin-lujah!

In the database expert, create a new connection & select “OLE DB (ADO)” (I was previously using ODBC RDO) then under provider select “Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers” then select your dsn. Don’t ask me why but if you connect this way it seems to work.
