It has been recommended that we use a 64bit SQL Install to take advantage of some of the Memory usage in SQL 2005. Does anyone have any experience with Navision in a 64bit Installation?

It depends on what do you mean with "Navision in a 64bit". NAV is not 64bit application. But if you are using SQL 64bit, it doesn't matter from NAV point of view. NAV is not looking if it is working with 64bit SQL or 32bit. What I know, there is only one issue I know - MSMQ is not working on 64bit. It means that if you want to use some integration using NAS and MSMQ, you will have problem...

I think this is on topic, so I will post here instead of starting a new thread.
I have a case where a client is on 32 bit with NAS running on the main SQL server. My plan is to upgrade the NAV SQL server to 64 bit. But keep the Backup server on 32 bit, so that NAS could run from that machine. i assume that should work fine, but are there any issues runnign a mixed 32/64 bit environment, say with Log shipping from a 64 bit SQL to a 32 bit SQL machine.
In any case I do not want NAS running on the Main server anyway.
We have a customer that ran SQL mirroring with a 64 bit primary server and a 32 bit secondary server. They ran this configuration for 18 months and have recently updated the secondary server to a new 64 bit box. We also have a customer running a similar setup with log shipping.

Thanks, I couldn't really see any issues, but its allways nicer to hear real world experiences.
