This version is an update to the Mibuso.com "Best download of 2007!" and "Best download of 2006!"

This version of CodeGenius Studio currently has been internally remodelled to support future expansion in the area of sharing templates within a LAN (or even WAN).

Main changes since version 3.1:

Build 4.0.1:
. Passwords with certain characters in them produced odd results.
. On some machines the templates did not function always.

Build 4.0.0:
. Activation of configurations.
This feature makes it possible to hide items you do not need so they will not clutter your menu when you open it. When you want it to be restored just re-activate it and it's back in you menu.
. Assignment of a zup filename.
Instead of letter CodeGenius create a zup filename for you. You can assign one yourself.
. Improved discovery of multiple instances.
This is done to improve Terminal Server support. Previously only 1 user you use CodeGenius Studio at a time on a Terminal Server.
. And many other new features are built in or improved.

. Microsoft Dynamics NAV configurations now contain a Show Password checkbox to display the password in clear text.
. Logging on to Microsoft Dynamics NAV with NT Authentication will not attempt to use any username and password entered into the configuration. It will only use the username and password when Database Authentication is used.
. Inserting templates in other Windows that the C/AL window should now function properly.

. I has been tested against Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 BETA

I will be releasing additional features to CodeGenius Studio in the form of plugins.
These will, once installed, automatically be picked up by CodeGenius Studio and fully integrate.
The first announced plugin is CodeGenius Database Manager, which will be released in the coming months.

I also have some problems with it on Win7. Some shortcuts aren't working, and whatever I've tried to make RTC configuration "OK" button stays disabled.

I've got the same problem as StefanNPS. Someone know the solution? I have creates a configuration with database credentials. But when i open it trough codegenius it doesnt insert my database credentials. When i have configured it with NT Authentication it works prefect but with database credentials not

FYI, installed this on a fresh Window 8 system and none of the CodeTemplates, CodeSmart, or CodeTags populated. I seem to recall this was not expected behavior.

Based on an earlier thread about this product, I uninstalled, then reinstalled - the CodeTemplates and CodeSmart settings populated.

Please check if you have the company name filled. It is required for the RTC to run and therefore also required to be filled in the configuration.

Thank you very many Mr. Robbertsen, if there is a vote button for best download for this year, I will surely vote GGS.

This advice helped me out as well, I just got distracted with the company name. If you type it manually in, it works correctly, but if you try to use assistbutton in the end of the field, you get error message:
