Microsoft Dynamics NAV Consultant Certification

Hi,

I know this is not an exam question, but is there a Microsoft Dynamics NAV Consultant Certification, or is this made up of individual courses?

I have searched on the Microsoft site but couldn't find anything, could somebody please point me in the correct direction.

As far as I know, there is no such a certification.

There are three different MCPs for Dynamics NAV:

- Microsoft Certified Business Management Solutions Professional Installation and Configuration for Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Microsoft Certified Business Management Solutions Professional Developer for Microsoft Dynamics NAV
- Microsoft Certified Business Management Solutions Professional Applications for Microsoft Dynamics NAV

Maybe the last one is the one you're looking for?

Hi..

I've been developing in navision for the past 3.5 yrs... I recently moved to the UK and started at a NAV dev\consultant firm.. everything i've tought myself in nav or studied the pdf's in dev. I need to go and write the exam for this firm and need to know which is the rite documentation that i shoud go thru or study for the latest nav development exams.. and is there a difference between nav development and nav programming??

As for the exams, in North America, Dynamics NAV requires the following for developers:
Microsoft Dynamics NAV C/SIDE Solution Development (MB7-516)

If you've been developing in NAV and haven't taken a break, you'll be able to pass the test with minimal studying. You'd be surprised on how many questions are recycled.
