Modification on behalve of spanisch bank account no.

Who can tell me how following issue is solved in Dynamics NAV .
If there is a spanisch bankaccount with a "Bankleitzahl" don't know the translation:-(
Is there a global modification to handle this or do we have to modify the bankaccount no. field(s) to 20 digits? and add a new field which could take care of the "Bankleitzahl"?

Spanish bank accounts follow the IBAN international standard. Its pretty simple, you remove the prefix for spain from the IBAN account number and you have a national bank account number.
