Yahoo and Microsoft

I think Microsoft escaped a very bad decision and Yahoo blew a good chance to sell itself at an inflated price.
Microsoft needs to overpay some people who really understand search which is much cheaper than buying a rival.

What does everyone else think?
Who do you use for search?
I use google 99% of the time.

I also use Google to search the Internet. Am currently reading the book The Search: How Google and Its Rivals Rewrote the Rules of Business and Transformed Our Culture

Good reading stuff to refresh my memory about search engines before Google: Lycos, Excite, Webcrawler, Alta Vista, ... . Those were the days ;-)

MS with yahoo might have attracted more anti-trust cases. :-k
