NAV2009 and Outlook Integration

I was reading through the "What's New In NAV2009" manual from partnersource and saw something on the bottom of the first page of chapter four that interested me.
Is this more than just the Outlook synchronization that existed before? I'm hoping it's like CRM and just snaps right in to Outlook. Then you don't have to have the extra window open and can do all of your work from one application. Anyone know something about this?
