Is there a simple way in Navision xxx to find out if somebody is sending a file by email. (Preview, File, Send). I want to keep a log if somebody Previews a report and then clicks File, Send

you can do

"if Currreport.preview" and log when a report is previewed,

but I'm not sure about the File>>Send bit :?

You can't do that in standard Navision.... but you can in exchange or Outlook. Requires some VB coding though, and it could be classed as "bugging" someones mails :?

I can see what your saying. They asked for a "simple solution" ~

I remember hearing about a law that passed that allowed employers to view an employees email. As long as they aware that a protocol such as that was in effect.

Probably different country to country.

If it could be done in Navision then it would be business related *hopefully*

Thank you for your reactions, but it's not really what i am looking for. The CurrReport.PREVIEW option i know, but that's not really when somebody is sending the report as a HTML file.

My customer wants to know when somebody is sending a pricelist through email. If there isn't a standard Navision function or solutions who can tell me about that specific action then we dont do it.

Maybe you can setup a rule on exchange server that a copy with specific "subject" is forwarded to some "logging email".

A subject from report can be allways the same, couldn't be ?
