Databse Restore Problem

I have client which have 2 DB's one of 3.7 and another of 4.0 SP3.I want to restore Both DB's(i.e., 3.7 and 4.0SP3) data in One Database.How can I do it?

restore process will override existing objects and data
you cant use restore to merge several databases

tell us what problem you trying to solve and maybe we will be able to offer a solution

you could create and use dataports to transfer data from two databases into a separate company (the company could be created in one of two databases or in a separate 3rd database)

what data do you want to analyze (from what tables) ?

There are many tables from where I want to collect dat for e.g.,Puchase header,Purch. Line and etc.

well we use Business Intelligence tools to present data from many databases for decision makers who need to see consolidated information for the whole enterprise they are managing. But it is rather costly solution
