The ZUP file...mmmm

From what I gather the ZUP file holds the settings like which columns are shown/hidden for a user.

I have 1 user who when they change their columns it is not being kept.

I have tried the following already and no impact:

1) Ensured user had full rights to folder where ZUP is stored;
2) Deleted ZUP;
3) Deleted ZUP,uninstalled,reinstalled.

Can anyone help??

Regards

James T

    Most likely thay's not the real zup file...
    zup file will be in this location by default
    [Drive]:\Documents and Settings\[loginUser]\Application Data
    depending on the setting... where [Drive] is the default drive, usually C on local workstation...
    [loginUser] is the login of the user having the problem

    It depends on which form he want to do that. Some forms have the property to save this information disabled.

    check if the user is logged in locally or on the network.. for some the local option does allow nav to write to the zup file due to security issues.
