Standard Item costing method

Hy all,

I have a question about item costing method!

I need information about what is or what are the tumbler with item costing method: standard!?

    sorry, can you please rephrase your question?
    On the other hand, costing method is typically chosen by the company finance guys based on the type or requirments of the company.
    Many choose Average, AFAIK

    If you choose costing method as standard,Then you will get the variance against the standard cost.

    System will arrive the Standard cost based on the routings and Production BOM.

    We have to define the Variance account in Inventory Posting Setup.

    If you Consume more than the Production BOM qty,It will go to Material Variance Account.

    If you Utilize the workcenter or Machine center more than routing time,It will go to Capacity Variance.

    This is basic Functionality of Standard costing method.
