Blanket to Sales Order

Hi,Can any one help me out in this.Thanks in Advance.
As per Navision Standard the system creates new Sales orders for every make order we do from the Blanket order.But we customized the system such a way that the system appends the lines to the existing sales order( If it Exists) so that every customer would have only one single sales order but multiple Blanket orders.
Case 1:For a single customer there are more than one Blanket order and the system appends the lines from both the Blanket orders to the same sales Order.
Case 2:When the user changes the qty in sales order more than the qty in Blanket order.
Now when we ship the order, the system does not update the Qty. to Ship and Qty. Shipped field but the system posts the changed quantity showing a field error.
Issues:
1.Even though the system shows the field error, it does not roll back and posts the Item journal with the changed Qty. Itself.
2.It should atleast update the Qty Shipped and Qty to ship but it remains unchanged as it was before posting.
Please help me to find what could probably be the cause for this.

It looks like there's a little bit more customized then just adding sales lines.
If after an error rollback doesn't happen it means, that COMMIT was issued somewhere between the pressing button and error ocurring.
Who did this customization. Maybe you should ask him/them first ?
