Maximum number of catalogs in Commerce Portal

Hi,

I've quite a number of products which should be organised as followes:
- 8 catalogs
- 1 - 12 category's

Problem is, when I use more then 2 catalogs, MSMQ gives errors because the products can't be inserted in the 3rd to 8th catalog. The first two catalogs I've made work fine, but I need the other six to.

Is there a way to increment the maximum number of useable catalogs?

Thanks in advance,

Arnoud Hensen

    Hi Arnoud,

we have a portal live with 8 catalogs, so i think this should work.
Perhaps you can answer me some questions:
0.) Which version are you using (Attain, Commerce Server etc)?
1.) Did you create the catalogs in BizDesk?
2.) Do you have the same categories in different catalogs?
3.) Do you use catalog sets?

I hope we would find a solution.

Pff... Don't exactly know, but it's something like this:

Nav 3.7 server with 2.65 objects, 2.65 application server and commerce portal 2.65.
Catalogs and categories are made in bizdesk and no categories are the same in different catalogs (not necessarily).
Don't use catalog sets. Every product is in one catalog/categorie only.

Can you just drop one of the messages (or error messages) of the queue?
Did you log the synch? Perhaps there is one illegal sign or character in one of the messages (product name, group name or something else).
