Quality inspection of rejected items!!!

Dear All,
For quality inspection of items we includen the quality in the routing of the item. But if "we need to inspect the rejected items "after the initial quality inspection, where will we put the 2nd quality inspection?
Is it where we have to use the series /parellel option?
