Migrate Native 5.0 to SQL

Can someone point me in the direction on instructions on how to migrate a native backup into a sql enviorment!??

In simple terms:
create a new database on SQL Server and restore the backup.

But I guess this isn't what you're looking for?

Thats all that i thought was needed, i've created the database and snyched the users but the new database isn't showing up in the list when i try to select it in NAV!?

And if you try to give in the servername/databasename yourself?

Is your SQL Browser running?

Have you checked whether the installation is done on the domain?

Are you using the 'Microsoft SQL Server Option for the CSIDE Client' shortcut now? They'll look similar but it's a new executable you'll launch to get at a SQL instance.
