I would like to know about the sub-assembly field in the routing. What are the possibel scenarios we might be defining them?

Hi,
Sub assembly field in the routing line ,we are using for the WIP Quality.
While taging the Subassembly no in the routing line,it will automatically update the spec id, which we tagged in the sub assembly card in the quality management.
While posting the output journal,if we tag the sub assy in the routing line, then It will generate the Inspection data sheet.
Regards,

Hi Thina
Thanks for the reply. So do you mean to say that it is used for in-process quality checks? Are there any other scenario apart from this where it may be used? Pls let me know.Thx.0 -
You are right. It is exactly using for process inspection.0
