scrap field

Hi,

In item card u have scrap field . In production BOM u have a scrap field .
In routing u have scrap field and fixed scrap quantiy .

Please explain how to use these field s , at what stage we use this fields.

If I am making a Finished good with only one rawmaterial . Some raw material will go as scrap.
So where should I define ?
If I effect how it will define .

Please let me know the difference .

You can define the percentage of wastage in this field.

you use the scrap field in bom . that wud b better,

For eg u put 10 in scrap field of bom, then for prducing 100 units of prduct u have to consume 110 units of the raw material in the bom.
