I am learning manufacturing .i have some doubts.

what is the use of the consolidated calender field in workcentre.

what is the Use of the efficienc Factor . how it is useful ?

could explain with a suitable example.

when creating a production order, we must know the starting & ending time for the schedule for the particular machine.

If there is no calander that is the shift is not defined for the machine, we cannoyt rund the production order, or put it in this way we cannot track at which shift was the order scheduled on which machine.

1.For the purpose of consolidated calender is for calculating the start time and end time.

2.To find the availability of your work center and machine center.

3.The consolidated calender calculation is based on the shop floor calender.

4.Base on the availability system will suggest the Load.

u will not understand the essence of calendar until u creat a prduction for an item,

u creat a bom for an item, then the routing for the item for which u have to mention the workcentre or machine centre.

And then without creating the calendar u try to creat a prodcution order.

and then try to creat po with calender created

u will defenitely get the answer
