Blank the Filter on Show ALL

Hi friends,

How can I make the current form filters blank, when user press show all icon (ctrl+shift+f7).

not sure I understand the question. the SHOW ALL already clears the filter?????

are you trying to stop them from pressing show all?
and if they do you want the form to be blank?

I will be more clear here. I have created a new form like "Item Journal" (from different custom table). When user filters based on the filter variables it works fine. But when user clicks on showall icon, I want to empty the filter variables.

When they hit Ctrl-Shift-F7 / Click on 'Show All' the filters ARE cleared ("emptied")...

Perhaps you're referring to the code within the "Item Journal" form under:

OnAfterGetRecord OnAfterGetCurrRecord OnNewRecord ...

Or the mass of code within the actual "Item Journal Line" table that could be easily manipulating what is to be displayed on the form?

Give a scenario of what exactly you are trying to achieve.

No. Because it is not a table field. It's a local variable. so In my scenario, when user clicks on show all how can I clear those local variables.

oh.... In code there are 2 options:

RecordVariable.RESET;

or

CLEAR(RecordVariable);
