ignore some locations' qty on hand in running planning

kiyackiyac Member Posts: 118
Is there any setting in Standard NAV for specifing some locations (qty on hand) will be ignored during running planning worksheet .

e.g. Demand of item A = 100
item A at location demage = 10
item A at locaiton red = 5
re-ordering policy with "included inventory" = Yes

expected result : 95 pcs of item A need to issue purchase order

** Since location demage is a location for demage item, it is not a supply as a normal location does.

You should use SKU functionality (see Item card)

This creates per item - location combination a SKU card where you can insert seperate settings for planning - replenishment.

If demand is on location Red, and on SKU Item - red you have set planninginformation, including inventory, it will only look in Location Red.

    good luck!

Then how about the SKU card setting for the demage locaiton?
    1. No replenishment since the stock in demage location is either via sales return or transfer
    2. Include inventory = no

My purpose is get rid of demage location (qty on hand) as planning supply.

    thanks!

On the SKU card for this location you can place 'empty' on reordering policy.

If you have more than 1 location and you want to use reordering system, you'll have to use SKU anyway.
