I don't... Old one was simple and calm. Aesthetic. New one is not - at least not for me. I would say - a way over engineered.

I don't.
The old one was better for me.0 -
I like the new logo.
Only the big red dot in the bubble bother me a little bit.
But at all, the new logo is modern and fresh.Timo Lässer

I don't really like the logo.0
-
It's different but still my favourite.
What was the old name of this site? The name Microsoft Business Solutions isn't that old.0 -

If Luc really had to touch the logo In my opinion it would be enough to change colour of .com . And change it to one colour.

New logo definitely doesn't looks modern. Too much colours, too much of everything...
Just my 0.02 cents..

It has somewhat of a half-finished appearance, so it is very appropriate for a site dealing with software. As we all know, software is always under construction…Kai Kowalewski0

Yes, the bubble seems out of place...
Hey Luc, did you hire a graphics designer to do the logo for you?Confessions of a Dynamics NAV Consultant = my blog

I like it over all but that Base (dot) seems out of place.
Either no dot or dots at beginning & end.
I can imagine Luc reading this post..
"Man these guys have a lot of time on their hands"0 -
i like it, because it look fresh.
But, all users will be accustomed to the new logo.Do you make it right, it works too!0 -
Somehow the colours used in "Mibuso" not seems to be so attractive......
Bubble with red dot seems out of place.............CA Sandeep Singla

I had contacted a company to do some little design projects. Among them was the redesign of the mibuso.com logo.
After the designer (and I) return from holidays, we will have another look at it.
It's good to see such lively debate about the new logo in the forum though =D>
This shows the commitment of our members and their involvement with the site.
Please keep posting your opinions and remarks. We might even incorporate some of your suggestions in a new (tweaked) version ... :-kNo support using PM or e-mail - Please use this forum. BC TechDays 2024: 13 & 14 June 2024, Antwerp (Belgium)0 -
For me the colors are like when the logo was printed on Ink printer with low of ink... ;-)0
-
I don't personally like the new logo, but definitely its better than the old one.
In fact though who liked the name Dynamics, who liked MBS, its all just a case of time. Who like NAV 2009, for that mater who liked Financials when it came out?
I think it just needs a few tweaks. For sure get rid of the red completely. And as Kamil says it does look like the printer was a bot low on ink.
In general though I think its important that logos and stuff evolve, especially as I understand there is a plan to move to PHPBB3.
Lets move forward, and accept change and move with it.
Great work Luc. =D>David Singleton0 -

Many people - many opinions.
You will never make something which meet all people's opinions.
The best way you can take is to create several designs and let the users vote, which is their favourite.
The design with the most votings wins and will be taken.
My sugesstion:
Let's wait for the return of the designer from holiday.
Perhaps he creates some design variants and we can vote for the best.
For a high participation at the voting, you can win one of a few T-Shirts with the old and the new logo. ;-)Timo Lässer

Anyway the reason I was looking for this thread.
The new Logo has started to grow on me (as I knew it would). I think other than the red dots its great.David Singleton0 -
I don't know what you call it "address icon"??
but it's new, my black box with white "M" is gone.
It's now a (o) thing0 -

Its called a FAVICON (favicon.ico)
Actually the new one is much nicer, but for me its only updating in Firefox, but Favicons cache and its sometime hard to update them.
Also great to see that silly red dot gone, the new logo is great \:D/David Singleton0 -
Favicon? Where? I doesn't see it .......
oh, empty the cache, and there is it .... it looks nice ...
the same color like the mibuso letters. it looks fresh.
