Import data from .docx

Hi,

Is it possible to import data from a word document into a navision 5.0 table ?

If so, how do i do it !

    Should be possbile.
    Use Microsoft Word automation, and be sure you have word 2007... .

    Hello,

    If you'are familiar with c# coding you might wanna try this: ExtractTextFromDOCXs, no need for M$ Word 2007. Then combine this class with "How to create a Navision dll/ocx in Visual Studio 2005 .NET" optional combine with an installer and you'are done!

    If they user .docx, I suppose they also have Office 2007 ... :wink:

    of course. rename file extension from *.docx to *.zip and open then find the xml file with data you want to import
