Office requirement for Stylesheet

Hi

Does anyone know what is the minimum Office requirement for Stylesheets to work?

I am on Word 2003 and things work fine. My customer who is on Word 2002 and Excel 2002 is getting the stylesheet source code printed instead.

Thank you,

Did you try to Search the forum?

The Office version should be at least 2003.

    Sorry Waldo,

Saw your reply early this month. May I know how you came to this conclusion? I could not find it in the system requirements nor in the manuals.

    Thank you

Found this in "Release Note Style Sheet Tool 1.0 for Dynamics NAV 5.0.docx"
•The tool works with Microsoft Word 2003 and Microsoft Word 2007

I found the reason and it has nothing to do with Navision. There is something called Microsoft Office XML which the whole stylesheet logic depends on. It goes as far back as:

Microsoft Office Word 2003 XML Format: WordProcessingML or WordML
Microsoft Office Excel 2002 and Excel 2003 XML Format: SpreadsheetML

The stylesheet actually works with Excel 2002 to my surprise (But there may be a need to install a program called MSXML 6.0 parser.). But it does not work with Word 2002.
