Should an e-mail be sent when purchase order is approved?
In the setup we can only tick "send e-mails on"
- Approvals
- Cancellations
- Rejections
- Delegations
However, as I understand, Approvals - is the request for Approval, but not the "document approved" e-mail. So, when PO is approved, no document is sent for requestor?

No there is no email sent to the originator when the PO is approved, crazy isn't it! I have added this feature with customisation, wasn't too difficult.
