C/Front - Date and Time

Is there a way to clear a date or time field to blank from C/front ?

Long shot... did you ever get a work around for this, something I wrote in a previous life has come back and need to be able to clear a Navision date. Tried "01/01/1753" and the .ModifyRec in C/Front fails. Cheers
