Technical quesiton - are the number of companies in NAV 4 or 5 really "unlimited" as the license says??
Can there be 10,000 or more small simple companies in the db keeping a different charts of accounts for each for example? :?
One way around this is using dimensions and having DIM1 = COMPANY but that wouldn't work if the CoAs were different for each company....
Thanks

Theoretical it is unlimited, but maintaining 10.000 companies is practically impossible in a native DB. In SQL, it is almost impossible (each company has over 1000 tables=> 10.000 * 1.000 = 10.000.000 tables!). You should put all not-used tables as DataPerCompany=No and even then...Regards,Alain Krikilion
