Analysis Services error on Start Configurator

I am using Nav 4.03 and have setup my cubes in Business Analytics. When I Start the Configurator, I get an error on the Analysis Services that it cannot make a connection to my server.

Any ideas on what I am missing or where my problem lies. DO I need to re-install SQL Server. BTW: I'm running SQL 2005.

    Which database u r using native or sql?
    Have u install NODBC ?

    Are you running the Configurator on same PC as the SSAS is installed? And do not forget that the Configurator is assuming that the source database (NAV DB) is installed on the local PC too.. else you need some small change in the objects. Just search this forum...

    Standard objects and the configurator is working only if you start it in PC where is the SSAS and the NAV DB. Else you need to solve it by changing things...
