I got a question. At the moment we have limited insight in the data adminstration of navision. We're looking for an ERD or anything in which we get an idea of how the data is structured. Does anyone know where you can get something like this. Maybe some of you have made such a thing for parts of Navision. I'm happy with any information that gives us an idea of the structure. Thanks!

I do think if you have a SQL database that there is a graphical tool to map the tables, but I've never used it myself. Whenever I need insight into table relations I just research the area that I am working on manually.

That's what we've been doing. Just research on a report to report basis but since we want to set up universes with the Business Objects reporting tool (cause the object designer is not easy to use for the general user) we're looking if we might find anything on how the db is set up. We've contacted the user group in Holland and they might have information in a few weeks after contacting other members. With the emphasis on might. But we had the idea there might be others who at least attempted to make some sense of it. I have not been able to find any information on the net up to now so my hope was that the users on this board might have attempted to make sense of (parts of) it and are willing to share information. By the way we don't have an SQL database.
