Compare GL Inventory Value and Stock Ledger Inventory Value

A customer wants to know whether the inventory value in its General Ledger tallies with its stock ledger.

Thanks for your reply.

The customer is currently on NAV 4.0 SP1.

I have run the Inventory Valuation report by Inventory Posting Group.

There are differences when the total is compared with GL.

Indeed there has been a lot of manual entries, so we can say that the differences arose as a result of these manual entries.

What functionality is available in NAV 4.0 to be able to compare GL Inventory Balance with the Stock Ledger?

Does the Inventory Valuation report gives balance as per stock ledger?

The Inventory to G/L Reconcile report is typically used to reconcile between inventory and G/L.
