Don't know if that's true... I met them at Directions and they didn't seem all that interested in speaking with me much less grant me access.

NAVUG charge membership fees, not sure if their site is as good as mibuso.

I met them at convergence and directions ... and sorry to disagree ... they are quite nice (may be only to me ). I joined their usergroup, but I'm not active in it.

They are mainly a USER group ... not really interesting for consultants.

I tried to sign up with the MVP offer, but it kind of fell by the wayside when they were redoing their website, I should follow up.

They are a very nice bunch of people, although I have to say I was a bit skeptical about the term 'community' when you have to pay a handsome fee to join. They do have lots of events, presentations, things like that, so it could be worth your while to join.

I would also agree that they are a bunch of very nice people, we have been running into each other quite often over the past few years. But they cannot be compared to mibuso or DUG. They really do specialize as a user group, and to work with partners would damage their focus and their purpose.

If you are an END USER, then for sure I would recommend joining up. So long as you can get a chance to make it to some of their meetings. Meeting other users in the real world is a great thing.

PS I guess they shouldn't really promote themselves as a community, but everyone seems to be doing that these days, so I guess they are not the only ones.
