Don't know if that's true... I met them at Directions and they didn't seem all that interested in speaking with me much less grant me access.
NAVUG charge membership fees, not sure if their site is as good as mibuso.

They are a very nice bunch of people, although I have to say I was a bit skeptical about the term 'community' when you have to pay a handsome fee to join. They do have lots of events, presentations, things like that, so it could be worth your while to join.

If you are an END USER, then for sure I would recommend joining up. So long as you can get a chance to make it to some of their meetings. Meeting other users in the real world is a great thing.
PS I guess they shouldn't really promote themselves as a community, but everyone seems to be doing that these days, so I guess they are not the only ones.
