Document Approval using Exchange Server

Hi to all!

We are about to implement the Document Aprroval in our company. We're using Exchange Server, what else needs to be done in order to use this feature?

I've tried putting the exchange server as the SMTP Server from the SMTP mail setup but error occurs when I tried sending an approval.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

You need to enter the account into the SMTP setup. Which error you see when trying to send the email?

This is the error message:

The SMTP mail system returned the following error: (0x80040213): the transport failed to connect to the server.

May be that the SMTP service is not enabled on the Exchange...

Check if the SMPT Service on exchange is enabled and if it's eanabled how it is configured. SMPT login with userid and password or SMPT login with Pop3 before ....

Hi have you managed to resolve this. I have the same problem. I have checked and the SMTP service is running on the mail server.
What else can I look for?
