How to get the Description on Lookup

Hello there Nav Experts.

I am developing a simple screen which has the following fields:

a. Code, e.g. GL Code.
b. Description
c. Amount


I would like to emulate Navision that it would automatically fill in the description field when I selected an Item on Lookup.

Can you please advise on how I can do that.

Item.GET(Code);
Description := Item.Description;

Put the above on the OnValidate trigger of the Code field.

-OR-

Create a flowfield that lookup to the item Description.

If you think of performance, you don't want to use a LookUp Flowfield. But sometimes, it's just necessary (if you don't want to maintain the extra description field)... .
