hello - I would think that the actual "receipt date" would be stored somewhere in the "purch. rcpt. line" table. There are many date fields but I'm having a hard time determining which is the actual receipt date.
can anyone help??

The actual receipt date should be the posting date isn't it?

You have to take the posting date of the corresponding receipt Header.

You could make a Lookupfield for that on the Lines so that you can show it on other forms (if necessary). If you use this in reports, don't forget to calcfields this.

Look to the Item Ledger Entry created by the receipt. The "Posting Date" is the actual date of receipt.

also correct, should be the same date actually...if not, you have a problem.
