Is it possible for us to create a new menusuite for each company in the same database in version 4?

No, it is not possible.
But you can assign to a user a certain role in 1 company and another role in another company.
Navision changes the menustructure based on the permissions the user has in the current company.Regards,Alain Krikilion

I didn't hear about such solution...
But there is a possibility of assigning Menu to a user. (Right click on a Menu Tab in Navigation Pane Designer >> Assign Users... ). Maybe with this You will be able to modify ability of accessing a Menu component.0 -
Currently we have too many menu in the Menusuite, is there any way that we can reduce the work to unassign users from all menu or to set security for each form?kriki wrote:No, it is not possible.

Design the menu suite an select the menu you don't want anybody to see.
Righ click on it and select Disable.
Save the Menu suite.0 -
Disable means nobody can see the menu. But what we want is the menu only used for certain users. However, there are too many menu in the menusuite, everytime add a new user need to un-assign the user id in all menu is too tedious... Is there any way to simplify this?ara3n wrote:Design the menu suite an select the menu you don't want anybody to see.

yes. You can run User Menu Level table
Copy an existing User record. Paste it and change ID to the new user.0 -

Hey Alain, you know where to move this post to \:D/David Singleton0 -

@David (and all others): Please, pretty please, use the reporting button (the red ! at the right of the post). It is a lot better to get our attention. It can happen I miss these posts (although quite unlikely, but some time might pass before I get to them) but we don't miss the reports (even if some we keep under consideration for some time).Regards,Alain Krikilion
