SQL Server Reporting Services and NAV

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone out there has any tips, dos/don'ts regarding using SQL Server Reprting Services and NAV together.

Also, I was searching for some sample SQL Server Reporting Services reports for NAV and could not find them. Does anyone have a link?

    Hi,

    the samples are based on direct access to NAV tables/views. If you have more than one database(e.g differnt localized versions) with variant setup you should use a staging area between (use SSIS projects) and make your own ETL workflow.

    Also from my experience I could say that it is better to create and use views instead of tables, otherwise your SQL statements might be tricky.
