-You can create a recordreference that works purely as a temptable (the second parameter of the recordreference.OPEN-command defines if it is a temptable or not.
-If you have a record in a temptable, you can pass it to a recordreference, change it and pass it back to the temptable variable. You can also pass a record to a recordreference, change it in the recordreference and save it in the recordreference. Then do a find on the temptable and you will see that it has been changed.
