Problems updating direct unit cost in machine center

Dear all,
When i update the value Direct Unit Cost in a machine center and i try to calculate standard cost on a item that uses this machine center on its routing, the Direct Unit Cost value changed only takes effect when i reopen database. If i don't reopen database the value considerated is the old value. Is it a problem of cache?
