Eror During Taking Data Base Backup

Our client is using Navision attain 3.7

Database size is 9GB
Partition size of Server where the Database is lying is 117 GB of which 105GB is free.

While running a customized form, following error message is coming:

Same error message is coming while trying to take backup.

.......................................................
Other concurrent activities have reused the available space in the database that contain your snapshot of data. This can occur in connection with time consuming task such as printing or making backup. Wait until the fewer concurrent updates of the database and try again.
If this occur often, you should create more available space in the database. You can create more space in the database by:

expanding the database
deleting unnecessary data
Date compression older, non current entities
optimizing the database
........................................................

Opting for expanding the databse, current database size has become 11gb - still throwing the same error.

What could be the possible reason? Please help.

Because you are using Native server (it seems), the DB files must be expanded manually!!! Check the free space in the database, you need to keep it to not fill more than 75%. If there is not enough free space in the DB, you need to expand the files or add new one on separate disk. Read the documentation for more details.

    Hi,

In addtion your database may be corrupt. Try and restore a previous backup to a newly created database.
