How to link Return Order to Warehouse Receipt?

Hi all,
Any idea on how to have a return order line link with a warehouse receipt document? The problem I encountered is....I tried to issue a return order for the receipt, but it is possible to create a put-away for the receipt, which should have returned. I tried to use copy document, which can auto-fill the appl.-to item entry, but this one links to the posted purchase receipt, not the warehouse receipt.
