We currently use Supplemental Items>Assembly list on Sales Orders. We use the BOM Journal to create the inventory needed to Invoice and consume the Supplemental item listed on the Sales Order.
We would like to capture the labor involved to gererate the Assembly list and have this part of COGS. This labor amount would be a flat dollar amount. My thoughts were to add a resource of 'labor' to the supplemental item Assembly list BOM.
The labor for the components is started after the Sales Order is entered, so we can't use the Production BOM to record the labor.
